Busy...you got that right!!

So many things to catch up... I will do my best to do it quickly!

DESIGNED FOR BABIES IS OFFICIALLY GOING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

For the past 6 months, I have been working on getting DFB started every moment i had. When the kids were sleeping or I had some help, i would work. This venture definately became like my fifth child. And still is! Nothing is more rewarding than having four healthy kids and a wonderful husband but the next best thing is the feeling of accomplishment. As we are just in the beginning and hoping for lots of growth, I am still so very thrilled to have it going.

I want to thank so many people, whom over the past couple months have been my biggest supporters.

Adrienne, Kaitlyn and Ashley... These girls have been so amazing. They are our nannies and babysitters. They are all in school and have helped and been there to help take care of the kids when they could. Sometimes I do have to run to pick up production, meet with a designer, etc. so having people (whom my kids love and I love) home with them so I can step out and do these things helps put my mind at ease. Thank you girls!!

My Dad... For his belief in me and support. Thanks Dad.

My in-laws, Bob & Janet... As they have always been there for us, they are now as well. They have never treated me like anything but one of their very own. I am eternally grateful. Both have been there to help with the kids when i have needed to work or simply to help watch them when i was run down into the ground. Also providing Robbie and I with babysitting for much needed date nights. Thank you so much Grammy & Poppy.

My friend Sarah... Though she is pregnant with her first, she has always found time for me and DFB. Helping me with writing, editing, you name it, she is always there to help me when i need her.

My sister-in-law Amy... For giving her time to help me, no matter if it was ironing, folding, hanging window treatments in the office, it was much wanted and appreciated help and company. Thank you.

Betsy... My photographer for life. She has put up with my many requests and the LONG HOURS we put in to model days for apparel and editing. Amongst her vision in photography, she is a great friend and is always there for me.

My wonderful models... You were all so amazing. What beautiful women, men and children i am surrounded by!

Clay... The amount of work and time he has put in for me and my company, its incredible. Hes genius at what he does...100% genius. He designed my logo, and so many other things and always done it as my friend. I am proud to call him Cameron's Godfather (and of course, uncle to the other three :)).

Sheri, Stevie, Megan & Johnny... The wonderful people of BWC, my web company, for putting up with my middle of the night emails and calls, my mini freak outs and my sleep deprived self. It has been a true pleasure working with you guys.

My Quad Mommas... I mean sistas!!! I love these women from the bottom of my heart and will forever. They have been such inspiration and support. I would be lost with out them. So i say to you, Sandra, Jenna, Moni, Jac, Charity, Beth, Gen, Suzie, Misty, Amy-Jo, Jenny B, Kelly, Jenn K, Mari, Jen M, and all you many other ladies... Thank you for being you!

PAMOM members... This organization is amazing. What support and friendship. My local multiples organization is so important to me. I have made some GREAT friends and love you guys so much for your support and helping me spread the word!

But the two biggest thank yous i would like to give are to my husband and kids...

Trey, Reid, Cameron & Brady, what little people you have become. These last two years have been the craziest, busiest and GREATEST years of my life. You have been the inspiration for DFB from day one. And you will forever be my inspiration for everything. I hope to make you proud, to help you one day to realize to go for your dreams. Everything I do is for you.

Robbie, my best friend and most supportive husband I know. Starting this business has presented many struggles, with schedules, financially, time together, etc. But we have made it work and figured it out as a team. When I thought I couldn't or shouldn't keep going, you were there to keep pushing me. You have been the most amazing father during this and embraced more time with the kids. I can say, I could have never done ANY of this with out you. I can never thank you enough for everything. I love you Robbie.

AND NOW as i hear the "exit the stage music" playing me off (envision award show), i will stop my drawn out emotional post and thank you readers. You have been a big part of me starting this business too. I THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Next post (which hopefully wont be three weeks away), will have pics of the kids and more updates. Including the details on Reid cracking her head open the night before Thanksgiving and having to get staples. Don't worry, shes fine now, staples are out and it never phased her. Just wouldn't be a Gerwer holiday with out an ER visit... and of course, it had to be Reid!

Gearing up for the holidays!

Many blog posts to get up to date but will start with this one...

At this time of year, of course comes the holiday picture taking time. Why is this usually such a dreaded occasion, let me count the ways...

- Reid's sweet little self will spend the majority of the time with her two fingers in her mouth. She hardly does this at home anymore because shes so out going and busy here, but when we hit the public... Hook em horns it is (sorry my OU and Aggie friends ;)). That and she twirls her curly hair, its super cute.

- Brady will spend the entire time exercising his ability to repeat. You know the rhyme "Pete and Repeat were on a boat, Pete fell off and who was left...." BRADY!!!!!! He is captain repeat. So he loves to tell us many times "Tree, tree, tree", "dog, dog, dog", etc. His beautiful eyes help me get through it :)

- Trey will go straight to his thumb. This boy loves his thumb. Trey is very shy and likes to sit back and just observe. But now we have found hes old enough that we say "Trey, take out your thumb" when we take pictures, HE DOES IT! SOOO GREAT!!!!

- Cameron will be... well Cameron. This girl is 100% DIVA!!!! She loves the camera at home, cheesing it up, posing... but get her out of our house and in front of people she doesn't know... "mommy, up, mommy, up (insert crying as well here)". Cant put her down. Every photo I have to hold her. Shes such a mommy's girl!

- All four will decide the night before photos that they do not want to sleep through the night or they will opt to get up early. I used to think it was because they saw me laying out all their stuff for photos the night before and knew. I skipped that step this time, yet they still knew! Never fails.

Three things that are usually "typical" of family picture day, which did not happen this year (insert virtual high five here... yep, I'm bring the high five back... its so fun)...

- We are NEVER on time to anything, let alone a photo shoot... BUT WE WERE!!!!!!!!!!! And didn't forget a diaper bag either!

- No major falls. Someone always seems to get some sort of visual facial injury with in the two days leading up to pictures (ummm... REID). They managed SOMEHOW with their wrestling, chasing, crib bouncing, ball throwing, stair climbing, couch jumping selves, to NOT get bruised or bloody right before! Of course, because i said on the way home, how great it was that no one had anything on their face, Reid proceeds to mock me by hitting Brady in the eye VERY hard with a sports bottle while doing twirls. He had and still has a black eye. Poor baby! He was so tough though.

- I normally always leave defeated and frustrated because all four kids didn't cooperate. And don't get me wrong, that still didn't happen, but 3 out of 4 did and to me that is improvement (and a passing score of 75%...another high five). Despite Cameron's ideas of trying to make mommy crazy, the other kids eased my mind by being so great! Now, to somehow remove the "diva" from Cameron's personality.... YEAH RIGHT!!

But most of all... The reason our photos were so good and always are even with four very active kids, BETSY MARIE PHOTOGRAPHY! Seriously, Betsy has SOOOO much patience and such a vision. LOVE HER!!!!!!!!

Betsy is booking into FEBRUARY already-- so if you missed out on Christmas cards, email her today to book for spring sessions! She also offers a new thing called a "Playdate Session"--- you get 8-10 friends together and let her photograph your kids all individually. If one child gets fussy, she moves on to another and then comes back later to yours!

Here is some of her work from a couple weeks ago with our family.

I love my family...

Our big boy Trey. Just about to pass Cameron for biggest and really starting to come out of his shell. He really is a spitting image of his daddy. So cute.

Lil Reid. My lil curly Sue. Her hair just gets curlier and curlier. Shes acquired a little attitude recently (I'm sure learning from her sister) but most of the time, she is just the best child ever. She gets into a lot, but is so sweet and independent. And just cute as can be!!!!!!!!

Cameron, not her best day! Poor girl, wasn't feelin the pictures this day. But i had to include her look of disgust (this was the best look, the others were worse :)). She is all about the drama, that's for sure.

Brady, the baby of the group. What a charmer! He is resident goofball in our house, loves chase, jumping out to try to scare you, being tickled and telling the dogs "no no, dal dal and mav mav" so cute! Brady has some of the cutest little quirks, he lumbers when he walks, his crazy hair, his excited face when he reads books, so cute. He is going through the stage too when it upsets him whenever anyone leaves, its so sad.

After the pictures, Betsy gave them a super cool reward... SUCKERS!!! They loved them!

Our two oldest (barely :)), Trey & Reid. Both have RJG as initials and both look SOO much like their daddy.

"Cam, stop sitting over there all angelic like, we ALL saw the way you acted over the last 30 minutes" - Brady calling Cameron out. Not really, but that is what i like to think when I look at the picture. Cameron sure does look cute though :) That is her plan!

Me with the 5 more important people in the world...

Better late than never!

Yes it’s November 12th and I have made you all wait almost two weeks for Halloween pictures.... FOR SHAME CASEY! :)

Since high order multiples are often referred to as Super Twins, our kids went as Super heroes!!!! And to make sure we showed how individual they truly are, they went as the super hero that fit them best!!!! :)

First, nothing like an on the couch snuggle with daddy after just waking up from nap

Brady was Flash. This fit him perfectly since he is ALWAYS wanting to play chase. And he is little and quick! Plus he doesn’t mind wearing masks or head pieces. In fact, when he leaves the house to go anywhere, he has sunglasses on almost the whole time. It’s pretty funny.

Reid was Super Girl. With her lightening speed and her crazy strength for how small she is. And of course, every good Super Girl has to accessorize. Always a necklace.

Cameron was Wonder Girl. Originally she was picked as that because I was going as Wonder Woman and she's my mini me. But I couldn’t pull that together in time. But her costume did have the most accessories and she loves that. She’s all girl!!!

Trey was NO DOUBT Super Man. He is the strongest baby/toddler I have ever seen. His ECI people and doctor would agree with me. And his running total of stuff he has DESTROYED (including breaking a gate in 5 places)in this house is never ending.

Off to Trick or Treat for the first time ever! We weren’t quite ready for them to walk from house to house as it was just Robbie and I but next year!! They had first class transportation!

Our first house was our dear neighbors the Mattson’s. They were all there to greet us and the kids felt comfortable since they know them. Cameron so much that she just walked in and wanted to be picked up!

Admiring the decorations. I was a bad mommy and didn’t have time to decorate this year :(

Our neighbors are the BEST! Their kids are the BEST! We love all of them!!

"What does a super girl gotta do to get some candy around here?" - Reid melting you with her eyes

Group shot! Thank you Delayne for taking this!!!!
* Don’t you just love the Super Mom and Super Dad vintage tees? Ummm where could one get those?... DESIGNED FOR BABIES! One of our own designs. We will be up and running in just a week or two, will keep you posted! I have been busier than I have ever been between the kids and the business, lots going on behind the scenes. Designedforbabies.com... Okay that was my shameless plug :)

"Do I really get to eat candy?" - Trey begging for some candy

"Nobody better lay a finger on my Butterfinger" - Reid

"Milk Duds also double as something that makes noise when I shake it... greatness" - Cameron

And their first bite of candy ever. We let them split a small 3 Musketeers and they LOVED IT!! They were so excited when we opted to let them try some (which we regretted later) than they just sat down perfectly still like little angels. We are such suckers!

"Mom, I NEED more candy, I must have it" - Brady trying to persuade me with his baby blues...

It's Fall Y'all!

Well, it was but then it was 80 something today! Crazy Texas weather.
I promise to post our Halloween pics but to first get caught up!

Our WONDERFUL friend, "Aunt" Sarah (whom is expecting lil Adam in January, we are so excited), took some great photos of us all at the pumpkin patch. And of course, her husband "Uncle" Mark, was there to assist (i mean help chase toddlers).

We managed to catch some GREAT shots between the girl's diva moments (which have been happening a lot lately, bring on the 2's). The boys were in HEAVEN! They think all pumpkins are balls. They wanted all of them!

Cameron is SUCH a diva these days. This is how she was the entire time we were there. She didnt touch one pumpkin, just walked around with her book and sunglasses. It was pretty funny!

Our happy family!

My boys... they melt my heart!

Trying to get them to all sit for a photo with out us being there to hold them down... much more challenging than it used to be.

Reid is OBSESSED with flowers. She wants to smell them everywhere, in books, outside, on her shirt...

Reid LOVES her daddy!

Brady, always the giggle box!

My sweet Brady looking so grown up. I can not believe 2 is just around the corner.

Reid couldnt get enough of the cars going by. "CCCCAAARRRR"

Trey fell in love with one of the only white pumpkins there. He carried it everywhere he could.

Brady and daddy being silly, so sweet.

My girly girl, Cam

"I can do it mom, trick is lifting with my knees, not my back" - Brady

Uncle Mark pointing out the many sites to Cam.

Halloween pics soon!

Bahama Mamas....

And Dads, of course!!!

MONTHS ago our dear dear dear friends, Brandon & Amy-Jo Sather and us planned a tropical getaway. All four of us deserved some relaxing vacation time!

Its always hard to leave the kids but they were in good hands with our WWWWOOONNNNDDDDEEEERRRRRFFFFUUULLLL nanny, Adrienne, and their Grammy & Poppy. They had a blast. I will do a whole other post on their time while we were away.

Meanwhile, here are some pics from our "Fun in the Sun" vacation. Brandon & Amy-Jo have had quite a year and we were SOOO glad they got their first break. WE LOVE YOU CRAZY SATHERS! Can't wait to do it again next year... and one day, with our kids.... CRAZINESS!!!

ON OUR WAY!!!! On the bus to the plane in Miami!!! FREEPORT BAHAMAS HERE WE COME!

AJ and I's view of our handsome boys from our side of the plane... rrraaarrr

While we waited for our room to be ready, we hit the pool bar/restaurant.

Our wonderful view while we relaxed by the pool..

AJ & me, i love this girl!

It would be a vacation with out one of MANY goofy pictures that Robbie and I take of eachother... were dorks.

The boys drinking some "chic drinks" like girls :).

The four of us went down to the beach at our resort and seriously, this was written in the sand. NO JOKE! It was fate. Quad parents, there was four of us... it just made me smile.

Happy parents!

The girls goofing off

For those who dont know... AJ and I met through our fertility doctor. Our wonderful Dr. Lee got us to in touch when AJ found out she was pregnant with high order multiples. Weve been close ever since. So many things about us are similar and we just feel like weve known eachother forever. So we had to give thanks to the wonderful lady that introduced us to our forever friendship. WE LOVE YOU DR LEE!

And of course, we were CONSTANTLY talking about how much we love our fellow quad mamas and how we wished they were there. WE LOVE YOU GIRLS!! And yes i made my classy signs with a napkin... nice.

Our last night there... Bye bye bahamas, we will see you again. We were ready to get back to our beautiful kids.

More on the kids coming soon...pumpkin patch photos...:)

FINALLY... ANSWERS!!!

Hello dear blog friends,

We got many questions! Some we have answered before but will answer in an abbreviated fashion again. We know some of you are new to our blog!!

CNH asks "Any more Gerwer babies planned in the future?"

C: No way!!! Four kids is quite enough. I already struggle daily with obsessing if i have spent enough individual time with them. Not to mention the expense. Two boys, two girls, what else could i possibly want! :)

R: NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.

Lori asks "Silly question, but I'm wondering, I think when you did this before you said you watched some Jon & Kate. Do you still and what do you think about this mess. I loved their show and now I almost feel guilty to watch their family falling apart."

C: Boy does this get asked a lot. And answering it is difficult for me. In the interest of time and me not getting cramps in my hand from typing... short answer... No, we do not. I did enjoy the show the first couple years when it was about the kids and day to day life with high order multiples. Since it is no longer about that, it has since not interested me.

R: I feel about the same way as Casey, but I'll go ahead and be more direct. The parents, show and its producers are more interested in viewers and ratings, then they are with the lives of the eight children on the show. Frankly, its sad. While the two namesakes of the show continue to bicker, the kids are just ignored. Very sad. I hope they quickly realize that they need to turn the focus back on their kids.

MacKenzie asks "I was just wondering, do the kids get any professional photo shoots?"

C: We have done a few with our wonderful friend who is a professional photographer, Betsy Prieto (her link is on the right side of our page). She does all natural light, which we love because it captures true colors. If you mean studio photography, i would LOVE to. But havent. I do regret not doing it earlier in their life and now i wonder if they would freak out in a studio with lights and such. I love studio quality photos too but they are just very expensive. Someday, I will do studio photos of them!

R: If you ask because you're an owner of a professional photo studio, I'm listening....

Cara asked a couple of questions, here they are...

"Do you ever get recognized from your blog?"

C: Yes we do. Especially locally at our grocery store or out and about. Doctors offices, March of Dimes walk, and Babies R Us. Its great to meet readers. Sometimes it can catch me a bit off guard when they know my kids names. Everyone has been so friendly that has introduced themselves and had many nices things to say. The strangest to me is when someone recognizes me when I'm not with the kids!

R: We do, and I still can't believe it. It does take some getting used to. Its always fun to have someone come up and ask how things are going, and to thank us for doing our blog.

"Are any of them identical? They look so much alike! Does anyone other than you and your husband have trouble telling them apart?"

C: No, none of them are identical. We get the question a lot when we are out and it makes us laugh a little. Because to us, they look NOTHING a like. I am not sure if its because we are their parents but we dont think they look anything a like. Reid and Trey look the most a like but still very different. People that are around them a couple of times dont have any problems telling them apart. Especially once you see their personalities. They are all SOOOo different. I love that my kids are all so unique! Most days anyways :)

R: They honestly could not be more different. Photos dont always show what we see, and from our eyes, these are four different chatracters. And I do mean characters!

"Do you have nannies or people that watch them when you guys go out or do your parents watch them most of the time? I nanny 2 year old twins and it is so hard! I couldn't imagine having 2 more!"

C: We have a nanny and a couple of sitter we use. Robbie's parents are also great and help out a lot with watching the kids. They live a mile away. My friends and family know I have a REALLY hard time leaving them. I am working on this. So there are very few people we have ever left them with alone, i can count them on one hand. Usually when we got out for date night or in the evening at all, we have a sitter or Robbie's mom, Janet come over after they go to bed. I know how difficult four toddlers can be! This way, they are in bed at 7pm and we can go out and the sitter has an easier job.

R: You may be surprised to hear, but yes, people do actually want to watch four 21 month olds at once! And better yet, they even come back! :)

"Do they go to daycare during the day since you both work?"

C: No. We have a nanny (Adrienne, whom we LOVE) two days a week, 9 - 5. Both of us work at that time. Three days a week, I am with them and my husband works. I work when he gets home after dinner. I will then work until I go to bed. On weekends, I work during naps and after they go to sleep. I try to spend as much time with them on weekends, since our entire family is home. My most favorite moments are with the 6 of us. Believe it or not, part time daycare is way more expensive for four toddlers than a nanny! Where we are, anyways.

R: No to the daycare. Its really quite expensive, and honestly, paying bills and buying food is enough to keep our bank account wincing! And deep down, even if we could afford it, Casey would not want that. She tries to be with the kids as much as she can. She says its because its hard for her to leave them, but really, its because she loves being around them, and watching them grow up. Since I work during most of their awake hours, I miss a lot, so I count on Casey to keep me updated! :)

Debbie asks "I am a member of PAMOM with 10 month old b/g twins. I would like to know what have been some of the quads favorite toys, food/recipes, and activities over the past year. I would love to hear about activities you did at home during RSV lockdown."

C: I will try to keep this short :). Congrats on your twins btw! And welcome to PAMOM!
Favorite toys: Eezy Peezy ball pit, vacuums, mega blocks, books with animals, any type of ball and container (simple, i know), corn poppers, pull toys that make noise, and tupperware :)!
Favorite foods: This is tough because right now, i have typical toddlers. They are so picky!! They love sweet potato fries, whole grain chicken nuggets, green beans, carrots (cooked not raw), mini pancakes, egg and cheese omelets, FRUIT LOOPS (i know, sugar, but they love them and they want to kiss Tucan Sam on the box every time!) and animal crackers!
Favorite activites over the past year: We used to go feed the ducks every Sunday as a family, that was so great! The kids loved ducks and to see all the people and animals at the park. We used to also get sno cones on Sundays, such a mess but the kids LOVED IT. They would sit in their choo choo and eat it like big kids (spilling half of it). And I regret i was always so busy trying to contain the mess, I never got any pictures of that. Swimming, my kids LOVE swimming (except Cameron, but she enjoys the first step). They love to "help" in the yard, pulling weeds, digging in dirt with shovels, dumping water, its so great!
What we did last year during RSV lockdown: It was tough. We started working on crayons during that time. We got the ball pit. PLaying in different areas of the house. Lots of push toys. This year we are doing a sort of lockdown because of the flu concerns. So we have started building forts with pillows, chairs and sheets. They are really into helping mommy clean (i love this but it takes me forever to get anything done). So they help me vacuum or wipe windows. Puzzles, lots of puzzles and books. Still love the ball pit. Starting to do make believe stuff like pretending to cook, taking care of their baby, etc. They also love to play chase with the dogs. Aqua doddle and coloring. Building towers with blocks.
I hope some of that info was helpful!

R: Or..... save your money and just buy them some wrapping paper and a cardboard box. It will keep them just as busy, and a box can turn into anything the imagination allows! This sounds goofy, but their favorite part of Christmas and Birthday was wrapping paper and boxes.

Annonymous asks: "I have two questions- what is their birth order and what is their order weight and height wise (biggest to smallest) and has it been that way since birth or have they switched around?"

C: Trey (2 lbs 5 oz), Reid (1 lb 15 oz), Cameron (2 lbs 11 oz) & Brady (2 lbs 5 oz).
They have pretty much stayed in the same weight order. Cameron is our biggest and one of our tallest. Reid is tied with her in height but is out lightest. She is TINY. Trey is starting to catch up height wise and is second biggest now. Brady is always about 5 oz behind him but is our shortest.

R: Not much I can add to that one. Except Casey is wrong about the heaviest. That would be me....

Annoynomus asks: "And are you doing RSV lockdown this year? If so, what are your rules?"

C: We are not doing TOTAL lockdown like we did last year. We realize it is important to introduce our kids to some germs. But there are some very bad germs out there (RSV and flu) that we have to be very careful with. The kids (and us) got flu type A last year and it was rough. And that was even with lockdown, we hope to avoid that this year. We do allow friends to come over if they are not sick and have not been sick in the last 48 hours or around someone who has. We will go to friends and families houses who are healthy. We are still VERY cautious about them being around children who go to daycare or school. They are the main carriers for swine flu at this time. We WILL not be taking them to indoor play areas, running errands indoors in public, the mall, etc. We are going to avoid doctors offices as much as possible. We can play outside when the weather is nice. Our challenge will be keeping them from MASS boredom over the next few months, me too!

R: To summarize that paragraph: KINDA!

Maggie asks: "What are the kids middle names and how did you pick all their first and middle names? I love that your girls have unisex names..."

C: THANK YOU! Some people really arent on board with the unisex name thing, but me having one myself, i love it!
Robert Joseph Gerwer III, AKA "Trey" - named after his father, who is a junior, that was an easy one :)
Reid Josie Gerwer - We had Reid on our boys favorites list and it was actually Robbies idea to think about it for a girls name. And it just fit. SHE IS SO REID!! I cant picture her named anything else. We wanted her to have the same initials as dad and i really wanted Josephine as her middle name but Robbie said no. We both liked Josie.
Cameron Shay Gerwer - Robbie came up with her name after we found out what we were having. One day i was asleep and he was getting ready for work and he said "How about Cameron for one of the girls" And we both liked it and it stuck. Shay was a middle name we had on our "middle names" list that we liked and went with Cameron.
Brady Sean Gerwer - I actually came up with this name. Its origin is Gaelic and Robbie's family is from Ireland. Sean is an Irish name and we both loved that name. It works great, because Brady looks like a little Irish man with his white skin :)
* Out of our whole list of girls names we came up with before we were pregnant and before we knew the sexes, we used NONE of them! So funny how things change.

R: We also picked Cam's initials so they matched Casey's (She was Casey Smith). And we wanted an S middle name for Brady so he would match Cam's middle initial. They are all completely different, but its nice to have them linked in one way or another.

SOOOO sorry folks for this being done so late.
We have an exciting post coming up on why it took so long to get a blog post up....
HINT:
"Aruba, Jamaica, Ew i wanna take you, to Bermuda, BAHAMAS, come on pretty MAMAS..."

Got questions... We have answers!

Many of you have been patiently waiting on a Reid update, and i do apologize for not getting it to you sooner.
We got a call last week from her oncologist about her blood work. After a total of 6 rounds of previous blood work ups, SHOCKINGLY her results were ALL normal, across the board. My first reaction was THANK GOD! This has been terrifying us to no end and just want to see our little girl healthy! My second reaction is "hey, wait a minute, are you sure we aren't missing anything since the others were abnormal"?

The answer was this. Since the results came back high but every blood tests were lower and lower, they think her body was going through an "adjustment-find-itself" phase. Not medical jargon but I still don't understand why. We went to the best oncologist in the area and she feels that whatever Reid's test results yielded before, they were benign. She said if there is a tumor, it doesn't just stop producing bad numbers whenever it wants, they either stay the same or go up. They don't appear and reappear. Reid's breast development has also slowed down, therefore the endocrinologist and the oncologist have diagnosed it as "Precocious Thelarche".

This is all AMAZING news and we have been basking in it!!! They will redraw her blood in 6 weeks from now and see if they levels are still normal. If not, then we start with a liver MRI and go from there. WE THANK ALL OF YOU FOR ALL THE THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS YOU HAVE GIVEN HER! YOU GUYS ARE AMAZING!!!
And of course, Reid is still her same ole hyper, tiny, crazy self. But instead she now has figured out how to climb on the couches, tables and anything else for that matter... and so have her siblings. I am keeping my fingers crossed they don't figure out their cribs yet!

With all that has been going on with Reid and our families, my business and we have been SICK for the last two weeks... I have been terrible at answering blog readers questions... SO SORRY!

We have done this before but thought we would do it again, as things have changed a lot for us in the last year and we have some new readers.

A LITTLE Q & A!!

If there is something you want to ask Robbie or I (or the kids, i can answer on their behalf :)), ask away. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE keep the questions appropriate, we do still have personal lives (a little anyways). We will answer your questions on a post Monday (Oct 12) evening. I will try really hard to be on time this time :)

So our kids have started this new habit that is super cute. Some of their habits... not so cute. After nap, when they have their snack, they all go and sit against the front door together on the mat. Have no idea why. And i love that the phase they are in now, they LOVE being cheese balls for the camera! As seen here. L to R: Brady, Cameron, Trey, Reid

Another day, did the same thing. Silly kiddos. DISCLAIMER: Yes, the boys have more than just ghostbuster shirts but really we just put them in whatever is clean and Trey helps pick out outfits. This was taken with my old camera because mommy was SOO sick on bed that day and this was all daddy could get to.

Seriously, HAMMING IT UP!!!!!!!! My goof troop!

"Sissy, your hair looks crazy today.. how about a leave in conditioner next time" - Trey commenting on what humidity and a nap does to Reid's OH SO curly hair.

My stud muffin Trey. STUBBORN as all get out but handsome as can be.

We got the amazing opportunity to see some of our dearest friends. Our fellow quad families. We only were able to come out for a very short time that evening but totally worth it!!! These people are very dear to me. I ask them for so much parenting advice and lean on them as a friend all the time and they are always there for me. LOVE YOU GEN, SUZ & MARI (oh, and Conor, Joe and Chris too :)). This was the first time Robbie got to meet the McNultys and he loved them just as much as i do!

Also you may notice some new blog banners on our blog...
First, March of Dimes... SUCH an important organization supporting the health of preemies! (this banner will be up by end of day Thursday). Please do all you can to support this cause. You can visit their website for ways you can help!

Second, Designed For Babies... my business. We are getting closer and closer to launching. For those who have stuck by me patiently through this, sorry for the delays. Building a retail company that will feature over 500 products plus their variations by myself while being a stay at home mom to four toddlers tends to draw things out. It will be worth the wait!!

Love, Casey
